So good bye people who love to hit “dislike” button YouTube has recently announced that it's making dislike button counting or numbers private on all videos across YouTube.
The thumbs down will be there as it is, it’s not going away. Users can still click thumbs down to dislike a video in order to inform the YouTube recommendation algorithm about content they didn't like. But it will not be visible to public.
However, when a user presses thumbs down, there will be no dislike count letting users know how many people also disliked the particular video.
